Today was the day our Central A/C unit decided it didn't feel like working anymore. Not a good thing in the deep South! Especially when you're in the upper 90's with a heat index in the 100's AND 100% humidity. Yuck!
Not to mention, we've only been in this house since March of this year. Yes, just a mere 5 months. When we had our inspection, we were told the unit was quite old. However, the inspector said he'd "definitely give it another couple of summers". Guess he was wrong!!!
Surprisingly, I was so busy with work, buying groceries and trying to find a repairman that I didn't even have time to stray from my eating plan. Huge NSV for me, because normally, this is when I would binge the most.
Praying we can afford the repairs, out of pocket, once we find out the damage tomorrow.
